Animals...certainly are portents of incoming danger. I am thankful my own were perceptive enough to pick up on what was happening...and that I myself was perceptive enough to understand their odd behavior as a warning rather than simply eccentricity.

Things seem stable now, and it is likely life will return to what it was before with little change. A few new laws will be proposed for safety and just as likely they will fall through with no new natural disaster to plague them.

I can only wonder how he is doing...

The Butterfly Menagerie is once more hiring.

All he left was a blue rose on his pillow. It's beautiful...I'm going to create a new rose to match it's beauty. He would...appreciate that.

I wish I could have accompanied him. I know he is a phonecall away...but still...

I am not sure when He will return from his business trip...but I can only assume it will be whenever his business is concluded adequately. ~~I only wish I had been able to attend with him...but there was no one else to run the teahouse.~~

Inari and Loki are both getting quite large. Beautiful children, and so well behaved.

And a new addition. I have yet to name him. I may leave it up to Pein.

...Mmm...Loki and Inari are growing up so fast. I'm glad we have a high fence and a large yard for them. It makes it easier for them to exercise. A pity that Wonderwice-san is no longer here to play with them. They miss him, I think.

In the wake of it though, my Partner has given me a good idea. I will be opening a tea house soon in Japantown. I am in need of staff, and had thought to use this in hopes of finding a few willing participants.

Home renovations can be an interesting project to do in your spare time. Luckily ours was minor.

The pool will be well-used this summer, I think. Both by the puppies and ourselves.

I should go and get ready for work soon. Despite tragedy, the Museum carries on.

The puppies are growing so fast. Growing into beautiful, long-legged creatures.

Beyond that, there has been little, aside from the excitement of others (both pleasant and unpleasant occurrences). Simply my job, and the time spent alone ~~or not as alone~~ afterwards.

Everything is ready. I took every precaution. There will surely be more excitement on the way, and we should take advantage of it. Strike quickly...if that is what you wish for.

Beyond that, should I attempt to keep an eye on Kenpachi-san and his family? His grouping already seems to think you might have...shady...ties. They know little of your benevolence, I suppose.

My God,

While you are work I will be attending to the guest room, since we decided to share the master. I will be installing shutters that can be locked with a key. Nothing that looks unpleasant, but that will keep anyone within from escaping.

I suggest keeping a small store of herbs. I would rather use natural medication than anything synthesized in keeping him from fighting back.

Now we need only bide our time.

As much as I like my apartment...it will be nice to move into a home.

Loki and Inari will need the yard to run in, I don't think the walks will help once they grow up. Saluki need to be able to run, I believe.

Perhaps I will be able to acquire more animals then. ~~they are far more interesting than so many people~~

I have work soon, I should finish getting ready. Only a half day today, but it should still be pleasant. Afterwards perhaps a stop for coffee or a trip to the park. I'm not sure, but I'm open to ideas...

The interview went well. I'm pleased to say I have employment now.

With the weather cooperating though, I don't think I'll stay cooped indoors today. I think I'll head out for a little while...

Perhaps to the park once more. We'll see.

I keep hearing mention of some sort of Date Auction...it sounds...amusing. I'm fairly certain both parties will have fun with that.

I have an interview on Monday to cement it, but it sounded like I already had the job. I'll try not to assume.

The tea parlor on the second level of the museum proved to be a quiet haven. The lady who worked there liked the crane I made so much I let her keep it. It was only made with one of their napkins but...I suppose to each their own.

If I get the job, I will be working as a tour coordinator, I believe, with an hour or two devoted to being a hostess in the early afternoons in the foyer. I think it will work nicely.

Today has been pleasant...it was nice to visit the park once more, although it was a little chilly for my liking.

Tomorrow I'll head to the Museum and see about the possibility of acquiring a job. If time allows, I may spend some time just wandering and enjoying the peace and quiet there.

Moving never seems to be an inherently...pleasant thing, though it must be done, regardless. It took minimal time to set everything in it to rights, leaving me more time to enjoy the scenery.

There is a lovely park near here. I'm glad my new apartment puts me closer to it.

But everything is ready and tomorrow I will start the new semester at Mishima University from my new home. A little late to start this semester, but I should have no problem catching up.

I will look into employment come tomorrow...
